In Our Voices: A Hundred Year Journey
In tandem with the release of The Ace of Cups’ new song, Put a Woman in Charge (listen below!), more than 40 luminary women came together from all walks of life—politicians, musicians, producers, directors, authors, and teachers—to narrate the timeline of women’s suffrage in celebration of solidarity, history, and our commitment to fight for equal rights.
This video encourages action in support of democracy while telling a historic American story and highlighting diverse women. This video reminds viewers of the rights they have that their ancestors did not. But our words are just part of 100 years of herstory.
We hope this inspires you to dive deeper into our past—and influence the future! This year, 2020, will be the most important election of many people's lifetimes, but voting rights are still threatened and voter turnout must improve.
